Mr Joudrie graduated with an BScH Degree (Honours) in Geology from Queen’s University and an MBA (Valedictorian) from the University of Western Ontario. Mr Joudrie is an active volunteer in the mining industry which included 5 years as Chair of Mining for Miracles (2008-12) which raised >$10M for BC Children’s Hospital. Mr Joudrie is married to Dawn Russell now for 29 years, has three sons all of whom attended University of Western Ontario and are competitive swimmers on the national stage, and he enjoys hiking, fishing, golfing, skiing, and studying history, politics and economics.
Mr Joudrie is the Vice President of Business Development for Teck whose primary responsibility is to advance Teck’s significant portfolio of base metal development assets located in Chile, Peru, Mexico, USA, and Canada. Mr Joudrie’s focus is working to identify pragmatic, effective, and cost-efficient solutions, including working closely with partners, key stakeholders, regulators, and communities, to advance these various assets to sanction, development and into production.
