Trades Scholarship

Thank you for your interest in the NewRange Copper Nickel Scholarship program. At the close of the application period, our scholarship committee will carefully review all applications, considering academic achievements, financial need, extracurricular activities, and the strength of your personal statement. All applicants will receive an update on the outcome of their application after the review period. Scholarship awards will be distributed in Spring 2025.

Your application is not complete without attaching a personal statement in the form of an essay or video.

Your personal statement should focus on responding to these questions:

What are your career interests and goals?
What initially sparked your interest in this field, and what motivates you to pursue a career or course of study in this area?
How has your involvement in extracurricular activities and community service shaped you as a person?
What sets you apart from other applicants?
