NewRange Copper Nickel LLC is a joint venture partnership that places two separate mineral resources, NorthMet and Mesaba and associated above-ground assets, under a single company. It combines local values with global knowledge, bringing together decades of shared values, operating expertise, and a commitment to industry-leading sustainability and environmental practices from Teck Resources and Glencore.
The partnership will advance the responsible and sustainable development of copper, nickel cobalt and platinum-palladium resources in the mineral-rich Duluth Complex of northern Minnesota, producing the raw materials critical to the clean energy transition and creating a positive legacy for the next generation of mining.
